|
The purpose of this position is to support Business Unit Leaders (BULs) to ensure programs achieve their goals, including but not limited to contract obligations, quality and technical requirements, schedule, budget, and overall customer satisfaction.
- Manage / Lead multiple projects from contract award through contract completion.
- Develop strong customer relationships to understand their needs, anticipate obstacles, and to advocate internally on their behalf.
- Track programs, manage program risks and provide risk mitigation plans.
- Conduct reviews of schedule and inventory availability to ensure schedule success.
- Analyze total BOM costs and identify opportunities for improvement to maximize cost efficiencies.
- Work with cross-functional teams to achieve targets.
- Provide regular forecast updates to BULs.
- Assist in the Bid and Proposal process as required.
- Provide weekly / monthly metrics as required.
- Additional duties as assigned.
MUST BE A US PERSON, ELIGIBLE TO WORK FOR ANY EMPLOYER IN THE UNITED STATES
- 3 - 5 years relevant experience in a manufacturing environment. A B.S or B.A. is preferred.
- Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Possess a strong knowledge of ERP systems and a strong knowledge of Microsoft suite products.
- Have a solid understanding of manufacturing and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Familiar with Department of Defense FAR and DFAR requirements.
- Windows 365 MS Project experience is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication with organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to write and communicate in English.
